Why work so hard?  Why spend time and money on other people's problems?  Why do we do what we do?  Sometimes the "results" aren't what we wanted, and yet....

There's more to a story than a cookout and a program.  Not every person we long to enable change in will change, or want to change for the better.  So then, why waste the time and money?  

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.  Love them anyway.  If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.  Be kind anyway.  If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some good enemies.  Succeed anyway.  The good you do today will be forgotten about tomorrow.  Be good anyway.  Honesty and Frankness will make you vulnerable.  Be honest and frank anyway.  What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.  Build it anyway.  People need help but may attack you if you try to help them.  Help them anyway.  In the final analysis, it is between you and God.  It was never between you and them anyway.

Changing the world, even a country at a time, is a daunting task.  Sometimes, however, change starts with one person.  Have you ever wished you could change someone else?  We do what we do to change lives.  To demonstrate hope, truth, faith in action.   But we start at the beginning...ourselves.  All of us at Missions Impossible International have had life changing encounters with God.  All of us have been changed, not by what we have done, but what only Jesus could do for us.  Faith, hope and love, oh yeah, and the want to change to world.   It can only start with the revelation of how much God loves us.  The same God who created the universe loves us.  After the revelation, nothing is the same.  Like the blind receiving sight, or the deaf the ability to hear, life as it was known, changes.  

Once we have grasped the revelation in it's fullest, it is then we are able to dream of doing the impossible.  It is because God is even more creative and imaginative and chooses to include us in His plans!  It seems crazy, but it is true.  It is a pattern He has repeated throughout history, using ordinary men and women to help change the world.  It is using the possible, the available, to do the Impossible.
